Our Yorkshire Farm’s Reuben Owen heads to Strictly as a star and makes big career move after Channel 5 success

Reuben Owen could be making a surprise career move into some major reality series after his Channel 5 show – Reuben: Life in the Dales – was a big hit with viewers.

The Channel 5 hit was axed in 2022 and was quickly followed by the announcement that Owen’s parents were ending their marriage to each other after 22 years.

Despite Our Yorkshire Farm being cancelled, Owen soon had his own series which premiered last month and follows the star as he builds his own business with his ex-girlfriend Sarah Dow and best friend Tommy McWhirter.

Fans who watched the youngster grow up flocked to the new series and were impressed by his business skills and began supporting Owen and his ever-growing business.

Now there are reports that the 20-year-old could swap farm life for the glitz and glamor of the BBC competition Strictly Come Dancing.
