The trips aimed to enhance the appeal of the islands and ensure that the stories and promotions created reflect the true essence of this paradise. The trips, organized by BRANDit, welcomed three top journalists and five travel agents from Once Experiences, Bingo Travel, Blueberry Trails, NCS Travel and Travel Plug.

Reflecting on the success of these trips, Bernadette Willemin, Director General of Marketing for Seychelles Tourism, said: “These immersive trips allow us to showcase the captivating beauty and vibrant culture of Seychelles to our partners. We are confident that their first-hand experiences will inspire others to visit. Familiarization trips are an important part of our strategy, as they enable participating journalists to write vibrant, impactful stories for their audiences, while travel agents gain valuable insights that help them promote our beautiful destination more effectively.”

The carefully planned itineraries offered travel agents a delightful mix of local and island-hopping experiences, giving them an authentic taste of the Seychelles. They enjoyed staying at a variety of hotels, from the serene Oasis Hotel Restaurant and Spa in Praslin to the luxurious Hilton Seychelles Northolme Resort and Spa in Mahé. Their tour also included a wonderful stay at Club Med in Sainte Anne, a private island resort located in the breathtaking Sainte Anne Marine National Park.

For the media partners, the trip was an exuberant showcase of the luxury of the Seychelles. They were organized by Canopy by Hilton, an elegant new property in Mahé showcasing artworks by three popular Seychelles artists. The second hotel to host them was the recently opened, ultra-exclusive Waldorf Astoria Seychelles on Platte Island.

During their stay in the Seychelles, media participants enjoyed the ultimate island life, feasting on delectable Creole cuisine, tasting the vibrant local Takamaka rum and enjoying exciting beach activities. This experience is designed to highlight what sets Seychelles apart from other destinations in the Indian Ocean.
