Beaumont’s Summer Menu Additions –

Summer is here and that means Beaumont’s, one of Birdrock’s premier restaurants, is making some fun additions to their menu. Known for their great food for any time of day, delicious drinks and a guaranteed live band on the weekends, Beaumont’s seems to cover all the bases that not many restaurants can. Sundays offer a brand new deal: Chef Mike’s Prix Fixe Dinner Menu! 3 courses, shared drinks and good atmosphere.

Starting with their brunch, they offer some signature dishes such as their Cinnamon Loaf Pancakes or Smoked Chicken Breakfast Quesadilla. They go to lunch and have daily specials before their happy home gets underway. Taco Tuesdays offers $8 tacos (shrimp or carnitas), including a special taco of the week. Wednesday’s highlight is a $10 discount on any bottle of wine, perfect to pair with their great menu. Thursday and Friday offer live music and a great time during the evening, while Saturday and Sunday offer the best brunch in Birdrock with $25 bottomless mimosas.

Their happy hour is very happy, 7 days a week from 4pm to 6pm! Drink specials include $5 bottled beer, $7 draft beer, house wines (cabernet or chardonnay) and ‘Swell cocktails, offering a range of refreshing options to unwind after a long day. In addition, select specialty cocktails are available for $8 to $10, and house sangria (red or white) is offered for $9 per glass. Food specials include a variety of tempting small plates to complement your drinks. Options include $8 shrimp or carnitas tacos, $9 smoked salmon dip with flatbread, $10 sweet heat Brussels, chips and guacamame (avocado and edamame puree, jicama, pico de gallo, feta), $12 Beaumont’s sliders, $14 smoked brisket poutine and $15 carnitas lettuce wraps.

Beaumont’s Eatery in Bird Rock is kicking off summer with a series of fresh new offerings that strike the perfect balance between casual atmosphere and delicious food. According to Chris from the staff, “The staff is so excited about all the new food,” and for good reason. Here’s a preview of what you can expect.

Enjoy the best drinks of the summer

First on the list are the new summer drinks, perfect for those long, sunny days. Beaumont’s has introduced the Bumble Buzz and is already creating excitement among customers with its vibrant mix of Limoncello d’Italia, Suze Liqueur, ginger, lemon, soda and the intriguing buzz button. The Aloe Aloha is another refreshing addition, a blend of gin, Chareau aloe liqueur, Lo-Fi Gentian Amaro, lemon, Fee Foam bitters and a touch of salt for a sophisticated twist.

Beaumont’s is also introducing rotating frozen cocktails known as “sloshis” for the summer. This season’s stars include the Coco Frozo, a tropical delight with organic Meyer lemon vodka, Cocchi Americano, white vermouth and a hint of orange. The Don’t You Slosh Me, a mix of white rum, spiced rum, Coco Lopez, pineapple and lime, is perfect for cooling down. In addition, the Limoncello Spritz offers an effervescent refreshment with Limoncello d’Italia, Suze Liqueur, champagne and soft drinks, capturing the essence of summer in one glass.

Starters that impress

The appetizer offering at Beaumont’s has also received a summer upgrade. New in the menu are:

  • Big-eyed tuna poke: With crispy chili, sweet potato rice crackers, spring onions and furikake, for a delicious mix of textures and flavors.
  • Thai Beef Tenderloin Meatballs: Served with green curry sauce, Thai basil, peanuts and cilantro, these meatballs are tender and packed with flavor.
  • Burnt carrots and cauliflower: Together with achiote sauce, homemade crème fraîche and mixed nuts, this dish offers a unique vegetarian option.
  • Grilled Summer Squash: Combined with vegan ranch, thyme and mint, perfect for a light and refreshing start.
  • Farmers market tomatoes: Served with fermented tomato butter, stracciatella, basil oil and sesame cracker, with the best of seasonal produce.
  • Grilled Broccolini: With salsa matcha, house ponzu and spring onions for a tasty twist.
  • Sous Vide & Charred Cabbage Salad: A unique addition with miso dressing, with a savory and slightly smoky taste.

Mouth-watering main courses

When it comes to entrees, Beaumont’s does not disappoint. New additions include:

  • Seared Albacore: A standout dish with rice noodle salad, bang bang sauce, radish and pickled carrots, a light yet satisfying option.
  • Fisherman’s pasta: Served with lemon pepper sauce, basil orecchiette, whipped goat cheese and EVOO, for a fresh and creamy seafood delight.
  • Hokkaido Jumbo Seared Scallops: Combined with creamed corn, agave-glazed carrots, peas and pea tendrils, with the best of seafood.
  • Barbacoa Braised Short Rib: A savory option with potato rosti, barbacoa reduction and grilled pak choi, perfect for meat lovers.

Sweet endings

No meal is complete without dessert, and Beaumont’s has added some delicious new options. Cool down with the refreshing one Passion fruit sorbet or enjoy the rich and creamy Mint Chip Gelato. These desserts are the perfect sweet ending to your summer meal.
