Eyewitnesses claim that Diddy hit his college girlfriend with a belt in front of other students

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ troubles with the law show no signs of stopping. The hip-hop mogul has a history of violent behavior towards women – the extent of which became clear to many after footage emerged in 2016 showing Combs punching ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in Los Angeles.

A Rolling Stone investigation has since revealed the depth of Combs’ propensity for violence toward his ex-partners. The music magazine published an in-depth report detailing Diddy’s background amid ongoing legal investigations, and when Combs attended Howard University in the 1980s, an eyewitness made the explosive claim that the producer severely beat one of his exes in front of him from other students.

Details revealed as part of lengthy investigation

According to a source contacted by Rolling Stone, Diddy, then in his early 20s, allegedly hit his then-girlfriend with a belt in front of other students. It is said that Diddy “screamed at the top of his lungs” in anger

β€œHe smacked her ass,” Rolling Stone’s source claimed.

The source claimed that students who witnessed the incident outside Howard’s Harriet Tubman Quadrangle tried to pull Diddy off the woman, who declined to comment when reached by Rolling Stone. The alleged assault played a role in Diddy’s growing reputation as a hothead, which has since resurfaced in the form of Cassie’s assault and other assault allegations against the 54-year-old.

Combs has since said that the Cassie video “doesn’t tell the full story” of that relationship, but Diddy’s support is rapidly dwindling in light of further incidents that are only now reaching the general public.
